Pie Face Game
The Pie Face game from Hasbro is genuinely hilariously funny and very entertaining. It won’t win awards for strategy or extended gameplay – it’s very simple, but often that’s what makes something like this work!
The game needs a little bit of assembly, but nothing too daunting (we are assembly-phobic). Once assembled, the game consists of a kind of splat station where you put your face in the hole, then spin the spinner to see how many times you have to spin the handle…and then hope that your number isn’t up! There is a high likelihood that at some point in the game you will get splatted…when you don’t get splatted you score a point, and the first player to 25 points wins.
While there is no great educational or developmental benefit of the game, due to the fact that it is hilariously funny and that we all love to see our family & friends get splatted, it is a very sociable game…a great way to get everybody laughing along together!
WHO’S IT FOR: Pie Face is suitable from the age of around 5 and upwards. The game primary involves being splatted in the face with a foam ‘pie’, those with skin disorders or who are big scaredy cats may not want to play the game!
THE TOY VERDICT: The Pie Face game from Hasbro is absolutely splat-tasticly funny! Hilarious & very sociaable – Pie Face is simple but great. Highly recommended.
