MiP ROBOT
MiP Robot is another high tech toy from those brainy boffins at WowWwee.
MiP is a self balancing robot (we believe this makes it unique, but we haven’t reviewed every robot out there so don’t take our word for that!) which you control with hand gestures.
The product comes in either black or white (coloured robot), and does need 4 x AAA batteries which are not included.
There is also an App, which comes with 4 modes for controliing MiP’s behaviour including ‘Dance’ & ‘Battle’ – yep as you’d expect you can put 2 MiP’s into battle mode and watch them try to beat each other!
The play experience with MiP is good – clearly this toy is more likely to appeal to kids (or big kids!) who are into tech & robots. The self balancing capability is both quite entertaining/fun and also interesting from a scientific/mechanical point of view.
WHO’S IT FOR: MiP is suitable for kids (& big kids!) of 8 and over.
THE TOY VERDICT: We love MiP. As usual with WowWee the combination of technological innovation and pure fun is spot on. Recommended!
