Og On The Bog Game
OG ON THE BOG GAME
Og On The Bog is very funny, quite disgusting and features simple but highly engaging gameplay!
When we saw the publicity for Og On The Bog, we really wanted to try it out, because children tend to love games featuring gross humour. And Og On The Bog really did not disappoint.
It was refreshingly simple to get all the bits together and get playing – no frustrating complicated instructions, the game also doesn’t need a huge amount of technical set up. The main thing to know on that front is that the game needs 3 x AA batteries which aren’t included, and a Philips style screw driver to get to the battery compartment.
The game is based on sneaking up on Og and trying to steal his toilet rolls without him noticing. If he just farts when you press down the section in front of him, then you get to steal a toilet roll, if he says something then you don’t get to take a loo roll and if he has a kind of episode leading to his toilet house falling down then you have to replace two of your toilet rolls and play continues. The game is a race to collect the prescribed number of toilet rolls first. Sounds very simple, but it’s strangely compelling nevertheless.
The game is actually quite good for developing turn taking, counting and some basic dexterity/motor skills.
WHO’S IT FOR: Kids and families with kids of about 5 years and older.
THE TOY VERDICT: Very funny and highly entertaining all round. As long as you don’t mind gross humour, this game is great! Highly recommended.
